Dedicated to pushing limits, Ollie competes in ultramarathon races that have taken him from 50 mile trail races in Europe to 250km in the Namibian Desert. More recently the focus has on been on trying to find some speed in the marathon to 100km distances.
In 2016 he skied 1,800km across Antartica under human power alone with SPEAR17. During the expedition Ollie became involved in research that challenges perceived truths of human metabolism.
Whilst currently working in the Emergency Department, an interest in humans in extremis has led him to follow a career in anaesthetics; he starts specialty training in 2020.
